Rectifiers – Battery Chargers

JEMA offers a very broad range of rectifiers, stabilised power supplies and battery chargers, for use in diverse sectors (industry, infrastructure...). In addition to our standard range, our research department also develops numerous special power supplies, high tension as well as high current, responding to the most exact specifications and demanding constrains of our clients. .

Different architectures may be implemented:

  1. Transformer-Rectifiers with natural commutation

Single-phase transformer and double alternation rectifier bridge
                     Power from 1kW to tens of kW

Three-phase transformer and six-phase rectifier bridge
                    Power from 1kW to hundreds of kW

  1. Single-phase and three-phase regulated thyristor power supplies

In these power supplies, rectification is performed by means of mixed thyristor and diode bridges or, more often, by means of complete thyristor bridges. A passive filter (or an active filter if necessary) allows them to obtain the residual wave characteristics desired..

  • Standard stability of 1% (higher stability on demand)
  • Produced on a chassis or in a casing
  • Variable and regulated output characteristics over the range 0-100%

  1. Power supply regulated through medium frequency cut-off

Buck Principle:

Rectifier Bridge followed by a filter and a DC/DC converter

Complete soft commutation converter (ZVS or resonant); rectifier followed by an H converter and insulation transformer

Power: 10kW to hundreds of kW

Puissances : 1kW to tens of kW

These two architectures are implemented with cut-off frequencies from 12 to 25 kHz

Production examples: :

Multiple power supply (61V-290A/81V-105A/44V-105A) for the coal resistance furnace of a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) line

The electronic architectures above are implemented at nominal habitual tensions of 12V/24V/48V/110V/220V DC

  • Compensation for tension according to temperature
